What would cause our 560 with a Fiery to cycle down between each sheet of a file other than RIP processing, which I have ruled out.
I have some postcards we are printing on 12pt card stock. I am printing the even pages and then I load them back up and run the odd pages of the file because they are variable data on two sides and this machine won't duplex the stock. What is odd is that the even pages RIP very quickly, but then when printing the machine cycles down between each sheet and if it runs out of paper and sits for a while, when you put the paper back in it still only prints one sheet before cycling down again. This makes me think it is something other than ripping time. Then when I print the odd pages on the back it prints normally without cycling down. Each side has a 300 dpi raster image along with names and addresses.
What could cause the printer to cycle down between every sheet like this???
