Hi everyone, first time posting but have been using this great resource for a little while now;
hoping I might get some help.
Our Docucolor 242, with an external fiery server, has been having some strange issues with the K value lately and I am not really sure why.
The first 25-50 sheets that we print are fine, but after that point the machine appears to stop printing the k value at all. When we turn the machine off and leave it for about an hour it resets and will start printing normally for about that 25-50 sheets but then goes back to not printing the K value.
I have replaced the black drum and the results are the same.
The black toner (combined total) reads %60.
We have scheduled a tech to come in, however a week later we have not seen a person yet.
Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
