Me again, asking a question about trapping. I have set out the following example to get a further understanding of trapping.
I am building a file that is limited in colours I can use and am only supplying out a section of the artwork that is in question.
The artwork needs to be green and I can mix two of the available colours to produce this which is Cyan and yellow colour of Pantone 109 C to create the overall look of the background. There will be description text on the artwork which I just want to knock out in white so for this reason I will obviously need to stroke the text. I am wondering though would it be possible to stroke the text like the attached example, or would it only be possible to stroke the text in yellow or cyan only, and not an overprint of cyan that produces the green in order to trap the text correctly. I have attached a working Illustrator .ai file in a ZIP and a PDF so you can look at the example if need be.
If someone could please let me know that would be very much appreciated.
