osX 10.8 print to Creo rip

Installed 10.8.5 (to use Quarkxpress 10) but now the printers to creo rip IC-304 won't work.
I deleted and remade printers but still no good. I can make pdfs and drop them over the network but i'd rather just print files.
Anyone have a solution for this?
