I recently started a thread on this forum looking for a BW digital printer and got some good feedback. Since then we've decided that it makes a lot of sense to also try to accomplish our color needs on the same printer.
Here's what we need:
60,000 Color clicks/year on 8.5x11 80lb cover stock
380,000 Black clicks/year on 8.5x11 50lb text stock
All of the above is duplex.
We would really like to improve our solids and our screens... both are atrocious now on our Itek975 pfa / Ryobi 3200pfa and on our Canon ir105.
We would only be buying in the used market and unfortunately I think we are trying to find production quality but with low duty cycle... I think that is a hard thing to find but I'm no pro.
