Our workspace is GRACoL2006. We open and color correct in Photoshop preserving the embedded profile. This profile gets stripped out when PDF is exported from InDesign. The proof gets converted to GRACoL2006. The stripped file gets sent to plate. (Our press has a curve on it to be G7 certified.)
OK, my question is, since we are color correcting with the embedded profile (USWeb or SWOP or whatever our customer decides to use today), how is it that the image on press comes out matching the GRACoL2006 proof?
Should we be changing to View->Proof Colors before color correcting?
